This former summer residence of the court of Wurtemberg was built between 1764 and 1769 by Frenchman La Guépière. The exterior shows the influence of Ancient Greece while the interior décor is either neo-Classical (central round room) or French rococo in style. One of the curiosities of this place is the desk of King Frederick I of de Wartemberg, largely widened because of the obesity of its owner.
