Todtnau : Michelin's recommendations

Todtnau is only a short distance from the highest peak of the Black Forest, the Feldberg at an altitude of 1,493m. A chairlift takes visitors up to the Seebuck (1,448m), which is crowned by the Bismarck monument. Admire the view of the Feldsee, a small lake at the bottom of a glacial amphitheatre. It takes about 1hr to walk to the top of the Feldberg, where the view stretches as far as the Alps on a clear day. A pleasant footpath climbs through a wooded combe up to the impressive 97m-high Falls of Todtnau.
