Along the blue canal we can find picturesque alleys. Make a point of visiting the Schiefes Haus (15C) and the tiny alley called Kussgasse (kissing alley) because the roofs of the houses touch each other. Not far from the there, in the Schwörhaus (house of oaths), the mayor explains the accounts and renews his oath of office. The town ramparts afford a wonderful view of the town. You can't fail to notice the butchers' tower which leans 2.05m/nearly 7ft out of line.
