To the north of the island, a floating island measuring 100m/3 300ft long and 30m/100ft high moves inexorably eastward. South of Kampen, a favourite resort for VIPs and artists, the red cliff towers over the sea. Geology enthusiasts will be more attracted by the Morsum cliff, located near Wennigstedt-Braderup with its 4000 year old dolmen, the Denghoog.
