Although rebuilt in 1945, this basilica with columns and four towers has retained its original silhouette (11C-13C). Inside, the Baroque stuccowork of the chancel contrasts with the Romanesque nave. The Altar of the Apostles was designed in 1967 to receive Riemenschneider's sandstone sculptures. In the nave the funeral monuments to the prince-bishops arrest our attention. The crypt, the cloister and the Schönborn chapel are also worthy of interest.
