The rooms of this former arsenal (1702-12) are home to a museum dedicated to the region's arts and crafts. The first floor houses the largest collection of sculptures by Tilman Riemenschneider in the world (80 works). Statues, gold and silver religious plate, Gothic easel paintings and examples of Franconian folk art can be admired in the superb vaulted galleries of the Echterbastei. The cellar with its collection of old winepresses is also interesting.
