This castle, built in the late 17C and extended towards 1750 by B. Neumann, contains fine Rococo and Empire furniture. The park enjoyed the special favour of the Prince Bishops, who had it embellished in Rococo style throughout the 18C. The southern part, designed in French style, features around 200 comical statues, enlivening the avenues of limes, arbours, bowers and cabinets de verdure. The superb Parnassus sculpture (Pegasus, the Muses and Apollo) occupies the centre of the large lake.
