  Restaurant mit tollem, gemütlichen Ambiente. Auf der kleinen Karte gibt es hervorragende regionale Spezialitäten. Außerdem eine tolle Weinkarte. Die Gerichte sind einfallsreich und saisonal abgestimmt. Der Service ist 1A. Der Familien-Betrieb wird mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail betrieben. Eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung für gutes Essen in der Region. Kleine, wunderschöne Hotelzmmer runden das Angebot ab.

  On Saturday November 26th '11 I was on a sportscar roadtrip through the Eifel. I had made a reservation elsewhere, but after I gave them heads-up around 12h30 that we would arrive at 13h30 instead of 13h they wouldn't have us anymore ... ?! I picked up the phone and the very friendly people at Genieser Wirtshaus were very happy to serve us lunch. Even at 14h. The restaurant is small, very cosy and service is nothing short of excellent (although the waiter only speaks German). Food is seasonally inspired, gently priced (most expensive main course is 24€) and very tasty. We had a chestnut soup followed by an excellent piece of Venisson with crannberry sauce, cabbage and a delicious creamy potato puree. Lucious ! We were 3 and spend 92€ including coffee. I strongly recommend Genieser Wirtshaus. Go there. You'll be glad you did :-) Tom, Antwerp
