Located in the camp’s former administration buildings, the sober and extensive museum at Dachau depicts the organisation of concentration camps in Germany and across Europe. Testimonies, photographs, narratives and various documents illustrate the thematic portrayals of the camp’s history, the daily life of prisoners, the forced labour, “medical” experiments, mass executions and the camp’s liberation.
