Oranienstein Castle (17C), overlooking the small town, was one of the Dutch court's favourite places to visit. In 1867, it was converted into a cadet school, and is now a barracks for an armoured brigade. It also houses the Orange-Nassau museum devoted to the history of the Orange family. Worth seeing: the garden with its view over the valley.
