Heading out of Bath, we enter Bathampton and ride past the old George Inn by the canal. Crossing the toll bridge, we will ride up Bannerdown on the old Roman road (Fosse Way) and on to the plateaux where there are far-reaching views over Wiltshire.
We will then head on past Colerne and into the hamlet of Ford. Crossing the A420, we take a winding road into Castle Combe. This road is slow and narrow but one of only two routes into this enchanting village. We will take some photos and cruise slowly through the village before heading out to Biddestone.
Biddestone too is very picturesque - complete with village green and an original duck pond. As we head back, we stop and take a look from Box Hill that has wonderful views of the Box Valley and Bath in the distance. Passing through Box, with Brunel's famous rail tunnel, we head back to Bath.
Includes
- Trike with a safety restraint bar and lap seatbelts
- Jackets, helmets and gloves
- Safety eyewear
- Waterproofs for rains
Excludes
- Meals and drinks unless specified
- Tips and gratuities
- Optional activity costs
- Personal expenses
Please Note
- There is no upper age limit but all children need to be over 135 cm in height (4ft 5 in) or over 10 years.
- All children taking the tour under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- We are prepared to continue with the ride if it rains and our good quality waterproofs will keep you dry. If the rain is very heavy and you would prefer not to ride we can re-schedule your ride to a date convenient for you (subject to availability). You can re-schedule the ride at the time of pick up but we cannot re-schedule once the ride has started.
- For your safety and protection wearing long pants/trousers and enclosed shoes are required.
