Pump Room Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

The present Pump Room, built in 1789-1799 after the death of John Nash, is presided by his statue. The interiors are elegantly furnished with ornamental pilasters, gilded capitals, a coffered ceiling, Chippendale armchairs, a long-case clock by Thomas Tompion and a glass chandelier. The rounded bay overlooking King's Bath contains the fountain where people can still drink the water.
