Beaulieu
: Michelin's recommendations
On the banks of the River Beaulieu, this small village in the southern part of the New Forest is famous for the National Motor Museum, which exhibits a very comprehensive collection of motor vehicles. Nearby, horses, donkeys, deer, cattle and even pigs still roam freely in the 373 km² of unspoilt woodland, heath and marshland of the New Forest. You'll be charmed by its beautiful lanes, lined with sometimes three-hundred-year-old oak trees.
