Snowdonia National Park Welcom Centre
Snowdonia National Park Welcom Centre : Michelin's recommendations
The centre is housed in the immense Royal Oak Stables. Sine the arrival of the railway in 1868, this mountainous region has grown in popularity. Betws-y-Coed is the main entrance to the park, which was created in 1951, with Snowdon (1,085 m) being the most famous peak. The area between Betws-y-Coed and Beddgelert is the heart of the park. There are more than ten peaks of more than 900 m in this north-western part.
