: Michelin's recommendations
The Church of St Peter, St Paul and St Thomas of Canterbury (1170) is said to have been founded by William de Tracey in atonement for his part in St Thomas Becket's murder. The church has been restored but principally dates from the 15C and contains some Jacobean tombs, a 15C lectern, a beautifully carved pulpit and rood screen. A riverside mill is home to the Devon Guild of Craftsmen which exhibits craft work all year round.
