Wool Exchange : Michelin's recommendations

Built in 1867 in Italian style, the Wool Exchange was the centre of the world's wool trade. Brokers still meet here once a week. The statues at the entrance are those of St Blaize, the patron saint of wool combers and Edward III who did much to encourage the development of the wool industry.
