Brecon Beacons National Park
Brecon Beacons National Park
: Michelin's recommendations
These red sandstone mountains peak with a spectacular slope overlooking the plateaus in the centre of Wales. To the south of this massive barrier, whose summit is Pen Y Fan (886 m), high undulating land is punctuated by lush valleys, the widest being that formed by the Usk. Near to the town, the Brecon Beacons Mountain Centre is the first of its kind in Britain and welcomes visitors wanting to learn more about this national park.
