Canterbury Heritage Museum Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

The hospice was founded in the 13C as a shelter for the poor. The current buildings are said to date back to 1373. Here you can visit a museum devoted to the history of Canterbury and its surrounding area. The ground floor has Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Viking remains, and the first floor is devoted to the romanesque period, including an interesting model of the rebuilding of the cathedral after the 1174 fire.
