The Teifi Valley, which stretches over around thirty kilometres, is known for its salmon fishing. The Welsh Wildlife Centre commands views over a nature reserve set in an area of marshland. The romantic ruins of Cilgerran Castle, perching on a promontory, were the subject of paintings by Turner. Downstream from the attractive Cenarth Falls is the setting for an annual coracle race.
