  sejour de quatre jours sans fausse note. service parfait attentif et soigne. table exceptionelle de l aperitif au dessert. belle presentation des plats cuisine legere et a la french touch

  la perfection pour l angleterre avec peut etre le regret de ne pas avoir un peu plus de touche locale. la formation francaise du chef est un peu trop pregnante

  Pros

  Fantastic greeting by friendly staff. Timing perfect with pauses between courses spot on. Signature Menu was sublime. The whole evening was a delight from start to finish and wholly lived up to expectations.

  Cons

  The single track lane that goes on for miles...the setting makes up for it though!

  fantastic signature menu. my favourite course was the lentil and foie gras soup. doesn't sound like it should work but it was amazing.

  the drive to the hotel is a wind up.

  amazing location at the end of a rather scary driveway. lovely greeting from staff who made us feel so welcome throughout. lots of little touches to make sure we felt very special on our honeymoon. food uniformly excellent on the signature menu especially the confit salmon with wasabi and the armangac and prune souffle. best bottle of white we have ever had, recommended by edouard the knowledgable and friendly sommelier
