Bodnant Garden (40ha), laid out around one hundred years ago, offers the visitor formal terraces around the house and The Dell, an area of shrubbery and woodland walks. Noted for rhododendrons, camellias and magnolias, it is also famed for the Laburnum Arch, which produces a curved tunnel of golden racemes.
