Devil's Bridge
: Michelin's recommendations
The River Rheidol and River Mynach join here and form a spectacular waterfall (90m), the Mynach Falls. The original bridge was probably built by monks in the 12C, though legend says it was the Devil who built it to enable a local woman to take her cattle across the torrent, hence the name Devil's Bridge. There are now three bridges, the second one being built in 1753 and the third, an iron one, in 1901.
