St George's Church Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

St. George's Church was originally built by the Normans in the 12C, then rebuilt by monks in the 14C. Its 34 m-high tower, dating from 1443, houses a carillon which plays daily at 9am, 1.30pm and 9pm. Inside are wagon roofs, a splendid carved screen separating the nave and choir, 16 fonts and the Luttrell tombs.
