Sited on Holy Island, a small island next to Anglesey, Holyhead Harbour has long been a major port of embarkation for Dublin. The South Stack Cliffs are a veritable sanctuary for birds, which can be viewed from two centres: the cliff-top bird centre, and the seabird centre, housed in the former lighthouse keeper's lodgings. Ellin's Tower on the cliff edge enables close-up viewing.
