Abbey Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

To the east of the village lies the abbey, founded in the 13C. At the Dissolution of the Monasteries, William Sharington, an ancestor of the Talbot family, acquired the building and converted it into a stately home. The cloisters, sacristy and chapter house are still in existence. Successive generations of Talbots added decorative features in the taste of the day.
