Pros
Very nice area, good wine, more than adequate food in relation to the price and a very warm and accommodating atmosphere, would heartily recommend this restaurant for a relatively inexpensive 2/3 course meal.
Cons
Utterly inadequate service, and standards have slipped food wise in recent years. The venue itself is very much in need of refurbishment.

Pros
Unusual old pub with cathedral setting.
Cons
Indifferent service, dreadful presentation and poor cooking. Worse than the average food in a medium-grade pub. Michelin-rated ??? - oh, I get it, the only place Michelin could scrape up in any area which has a real dearth of decent places to eat. I use Michelin a lot and ate there 6 years ago, so I refuse to believe that any inspectors ever ate there recently.
