The Snowdon Mountain Railway (1896) is the only rack railway of this type in Great Britain. It takes you to the highest summit in England or Wales (1 085m). At the top, on a clear day, the beautiful panoramic view stretches to the island of Anglesey, the Isle of Man, and the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland.
