Pros

The place is really nice: it's one big room with a pleasant soft light and a good acoustic. Personnel is kind and available but it lacks of catering education (given the price). Wine served along with the testing menu for an additional GBP 40 was good even though I would have expected a different wine for each dish.

Cons

I would have expected high level, refined cousine given this is Bruno Barbieri's restaurant. Instead, dishes were pretty simple and far from a "want-to-be" starred restaurant. Moreover, the sequence of dishes was a disaster: I could not see any logic in the escalation of flavors. Menu: grilled tomino wrapped in speak with salad and black truffle oil; cauliflower velouté with gorgonzola gratin and toasted hazelnuts; pumpkin ravioli with parmesan, brown butter and nutmeg; rib eye tagliata (GBP65)
