Cuisine modern

Menu: £28/ £43 A particularly interesting wine list

Bright and relaxed interior, with a palpable sense of neighbourhood. Balanced and seasonally informed dishes are full of flavour, from a varied and appealing menu influenced mostly by Europe. Service is pleasant and unflappable.

      Pros

Fantastic positioning in Kew tucked away near the station. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food was spot on and the starter of venison and black pudding turnover was exceptional. Great british food cooked with care and with deep flavours. Very good

      Pros

      Cons

The room is cramped with too many small tables. We waited about 20 minutes before the waiter asked if we would like an aperitif. The food was well presented but unfortunately all dishes were dull and lacked flavours. Overall under par compared with other 1-star restaurants in London.
