Carlton House Terrace
Carlton House Terrace
: Michelin's recommendations
The two lines of attractive individual houses were built from 1827 to 1832. On the north side, the porches sometimes grouped in pairs are flanked by columns and topped with balconies. Lord Curzon lived at no.1. The south side looking over St James's Park is more majestic. Each block flanked by lateral pavilions, is made up of 31 of bays organised around a central portico with Corinthian columns and balconies resting on small wrought iron columns painted white.
