Located at the west end of this street you will find youth hostels for boys and girls; namely the YMCA and YWCA. A glass wall on its façade lightens the imposing Congress House, the headquarters of the Trade Unions. In front of the Hall stands a war memorial, an immense screen of ophit marble, sculpted on site by Jacob Epstein in 1958. On the corner of Tottenham Court Road you will see Centre Point, a 34-storey tower designed in the 1960's by Richard Seifert.
