Greenwich’s name is synonymous with the Meridian, and its famously iconic observatoryb. The area is also very appealing on account of its huge park and museums, most notably the National Maritime Museum. A pleasant walk past historic pubs along the River Thames provides some fine views of its majestic royal buildings, and the futuristic skyline of the river’s north shore and Docklands beyond.
