Museum of Garden History : Michelin's recommendations

Founded in 1977 by the Tradescant Trust, the Museum of Garden History was moved to St Mary-at-Lambeth Church, which was rebuilt in 1851 and restored in 1981 (14C tower). The museum features an exhibition of gardening tools and, in the cemetery, the reconstruction of a 17C garden. You can also see the tombs of the gardeners of King Charles I, who lived at Lambeth in the 17C. Admiral Bligh of Bounty fame is also buried here; he lived at 100 Lambeth Road.
