St Mary Woolnoth of the Nativity : Michelin's recommendations

Destroyed in the Great Fire of London, this church was rebuilt by Hawksmoor, Wren's pupil between 1716 and 1727. Hawksmoor, of a lesser classical style than his master, produced less naturalisatic works. The stone towr has a rustic boss attached to Corinthian columns. Inside you will notice the retable and the pulpit.
