St Peter's, Marylebone : Michelin's recommendations

Originally designed as a small chapel for the residents of Cavendish Square, this small, dark brick church (1721-1724) has a square tower and an open belfry. Designed by the architect James Gibbs, it was probably the model for St Martin-in-the-Fields. The stained glass windows were designed by Edward Coley Burne-Jones and made by William Morris & Co. The church is the home of the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity.
