The Rose Theatre Exhibition
The Rose Theatre Exhibition : Michelin's recommendations
At 56 Park Street, an imaginative light and sound show brings to life the history of the Rose Theatre, the first theatre on Bankside. Excavations have revealed the remains of the building, currently reburied to protect them while funds are raised to complete the project. It is anticipated that the site will be open to the public. Knowledge gleaned during the excavations has been invaluable in the construction of the new Globe.
