Milford Haven : Michelin's recommendations

The modern toll bridge east of Pembroke affords a splendid view of the Milford Haven roadstead. According to Admiral Nelson, posthumous victor of the Battle of Trafalgar (1805), it is one of the most beautiful roadsteads in the world. It boasts a rich history. A nautical school and shipyard were built here in 1790. It is now a sailing, windsurfing and water-skiing centre. Nearby islands such as Skomer are home to numerous varieties of birds.
