Morecambe : Michelin's recommendations

This traditional seaside resort extends along a wide bay not far from Heysham. A little further away is the Furness Peninsula and the mountains of the Lake District. The estuary is a haven for wintering waders and waterfowl. An 8km-long promenade lines the resort. Attractions include swimming pools, a theme park, and a miniature village for children. Beautiful sunsets may be enjoyed from the Promenade Arena near the Winter Gardens.
