Former pilchard processing cottage hidden away in a backstreet of an old fishing village; bright, modern artwork adorns the walls. Simple brunch and lunch menus, good value early evening selection and a seafood orientated à la carte. Good-sized, comfy bedrooms - one used to be artist Jack Pender's studio.

      Pros

      Really enjoyed our two-night stay here - lovely room which had been upgraded from the one we booked. Breakfast was superb, and dinner was delicious. Owners and staff were really welcoming. We would certainly come back and would recommend to friends.

      Cons

      Only the weather, which was not their fault!
