Botanic Gardens : Michelin's recommendations
These gardens created in 1621 are the oldest in England. They have good views of the spires and towers of the colleges, and also of the Cherwell, where punts abound in the summer months. The gates date from c. 1630 and were designed by Nicholas Stone, and inspired by Italian art.
