Christ Church Cathedral Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Built in late Roman style with a 16 C roof, it was originally the priory church of St Frideswide, which explains why it is today the smallest cathedral in England. The 15 C starred choir vaulting is magnificent. Notice the window dating from c. 1330 portraying Becket's martyrdom in St. Lucy's chapel, as well as the Early English Gothic Chapter House and the late Gothic cloisters.
