Princetown : Michelin's recommendations
This town in Dartmoor National Park is the highest in England and dominated by a famous prison. Originally built between 1806 and 1808 to hold Napoleonic prisoners of war (5 000 in 1809, 9 000 by 1813), it later became a factory before being used as a convict prison in the 1840s when transportation ceased.
