Saint David's Travel guide
Saint David's
: Michelin's recommendations
Although sited on its outskirts, the cathedral is the focal point of this village. Since a decree of Pope Callixtus II in the 12C, two pilgrimages to St David's are the equivalent of one to Rome - a privilege shared only with Santiago de Compostela in Spain. There has been a Christian community and daily worship at St David's for more than fourteen centuries. Today, it is a popular site on the tourist trail, as it lies at the westernmost point of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
