This magnificent building (1993) enjoying a lovely view over the sandy beach of Porthmeor was designed by Eldred Evans and David Shaley. The asymmetrically shaped art gallery rises in harmonious spirals, offering a functional and light space in which to present its temporary exhibitions of contemporary works from London's Tate Modern.
