A Perpendicular church dating from 1220 with a low square tower added in 1390. It has a Doom Painting (c 1475, the largest in England) above the chancel arch, featuring Christ in Majesty and the New Jerusalem. The Lady Chapel, decorated with very small 15C frescoes, has splendid wrought-iron railings and fine woodcarvings, dating from 1725.
