The Cathedral dating back to the 14 and 15C, towers above the alluvial plains of the River Don. In the 6C Saint Macaire had a sanctuary built there in accordance with the wishes of Saint Columba. The austere west façade has an extremely beautiful stained-glass window. Inside, don't forget to bring binoculars with you to admire the coat of arms on the ceiling.
