Balloch : Michelin's recommendations

This town stands beside Loch Lomond, "Queen of the Scottish Lochs", with its blue waters flanked by beautiful mountains and wooded shores. Magnificent boat trips on the loch leave from Balloch and call at Luss, Rowardennan, Tarbet and Inversnaid. Inchmurrin is the largest of the 30 islands scattered across the southern part of the loch. The island of Inchcailloch is a nature reserve.
