Banff
: Michelin's recommendations
This small town at the mouth of the River Deveron, became a royal burgh in the 12C. It boasts a fortified castle, monastery and a few interesting 18C buildings to be found in Low Street, High Shore, Boyndie Street and High Street. This magnificent heritage dates back to the times when Banff was the winter residence of wealthy local landowners.
