Another series of 2-storey, 18C houses stands on the west side at nos 47 to 41; a little further down, on the opposite side of the street is the fortified Abercrombie house, a pleasant rubble stone structure, dating from the mid-18C. At the far southern end of the street at nos 5 to 1, the houses are modern in style with the Old Banff Academy at the rear.
