The Trossachs Highly Recommended Highly Recommended Highly Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

From Callender to Loch Venachar in the east and Loch Katrine and the shores of Loch Lomond to the west, the rugged mountains and wooded slopes of the Trossachs are reflected in the waters of countless lakes. Since 2002, this superb region, which rose to fame thanks to authors such as Walter Scott (1771-1832), is made up of the National Park of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, the first of its kind in Scotland. It would be a crime to leave without having seen two of its most famous lochs, Katrine and Lomond.
